This can only be done by the Holy Spirit guiding the man. Dr. Dowie said that the days of inspiration were not past; that preaching must be inspired now as much as in the days of the Apostles. "Take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak "For it is nou ye who speak, but the Spirit of your Father Who speaketh in you."--Matthew 10:19,20. Paul attributed his success in preaching not to his learning, nor to, his eloquence, nor oratory, nor his logical powers, nor great reasoning faculties. He no doubt had all of these, but they availed little. "And 1, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. "And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power."--I. Corinthians 2:2,4. And why does he say that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God? Men should not say of a preacher that his success was in himself, but God should have the glory.
